My heart is full of gratitude. I am grateful that my son made it to his GCSE Maths Paper 2 this morning without melting down. I am grateful that he will go through this right of passage, these fifteen exams, scary as they have been, that will show him that he can do hard things. And I am grateful to his tutors Helen, Andrea and Claire for helping him to feel prepared and, to a certain extent, in control.
